One Big Field Trip

St. Louis

  • Settled
  • Walked over the bridge
  • Arch
  • Show, gift shop, café, museum, and tour with Ranger Melissa
  • Pictures and walked back to our RV
  • Unicycled
  • Chilled

Next day:

  • Zoo

Next day:

  • Run with ranger –> So cool, me and my mom ran a mile to the Arch then we went on a two mile run with the ranger and he just spouted off facts the entire time! So cool! Highly recommend!
  • Went up in the Arch with Sophie –> Amazing. All I could think about was Percy (from Percy Jackson by Rick Riordan) jumping from the Arch and into the Mississippi. He must have taken quite the leap.
  • Packed up and drove away

Gateway Arch Facts:

  • No one died during the whole building process
  • The Eads Bridge right next to the Arch was the first world’s first all steel bridge. It is made of Carnegie steel.
  • The Arch is 630 feet tall.

Thanks for reading! See you next week for one of my last posts! 🙂
