SCAVENGER HUNT
Highly recommend! Not only do you get your walking in, but you also get to learn lots of facts, and if you’re into shopping, their are lots of little stores in Savannah.
(Also, if you’re a Pokémon Go fan lots of Pokéstops in Savannah). 😉
Savannah, Georgia Scavenger Hunt was around 2 miles of walking and it takes around 90-180 minutes.
Would I do the Scavenger Hunt again?
Yes, but in a different city, and probably with the same website. But it was so pretty! Savannah has these really pretty squares, and really beautiful historical sites, buildings, and sculptures.
Scavenger Hunt Website:
What I learned on our Scavenger Hunt and on our Ghost tours was that a lot of battles were fought in Savannah, Georgia.
Also in Savannah, Georgia one of their squares is dedicated to Pulaski, and it’s a really interesting story that I would recommend looking into. The basics of it is this man may have been a woman.
GHOST TOUR
You can ride or walk around for these ghost tours.
Okay, so my experience was a little disturbing and unsettling, but I would probably do it again.
The thing is of you decide to connect with it and actually get into it you get a little spooked.
One really interesting thing I learned on our ghost tour was: Savannah is a city built on it’s dead.
But overall it’s really cool and it’s just another way of exploring Savannah, except that it’s at night, with a dude in a kilt.
Would I reommend going on a ghost tour?
YES!!! But go at the earliest time you can (you never know if they may run over time –> because our guide went almost an hour over time). Also, it does depend on who you are, because it definitely was cool, just creepy. Would do it again though. 🙂
Remember: “Even when life ain’t smooth, you just gotta keep the groove.” 😛
