One Big Field Trip

Mt. Rainier National Park

(1 min video below)

Wow, just wow! Breathtaking 360* views surround you continually as you hike up the side of Rainier for as long or as little as you’d like. Turn one way and in 5 minutes you’re at a beautiful waterfall with the mountain as your backdrop. Turn the other and it’s a half mile fairly steep, but ashpalt trail, trail towards the mountain which then turns into a 6 mile dirt loop. We had researched and chose this trail, the Skyline trail, in Paradise, due to thousands of 5 star reviews. We also knew, from these reviews, that we’d need to get there early to find parking. We’re so glad we did!

Marmots loved eating the wild flowers, and we loved watching them.

Blessed with a clear day so views from Mt. Rainier included Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Hood, and Mt. Adams in the distance.
The wild life and wild flowers were out in all their glory.
Mt. Rainier stands at 14,410 feet. (Panoramic photo)
Hiking the 2,000 feet elevation gain and enjoying the views along the way!
Our cool down hike at Nisqually Vista at Paradise.

MOST MAJESTIC AND BEAUTIFUL HIKE EVER!
