I know many who would dream of staying the night at Cabela’s. And they should…it was great! Only after several nights of having to level the trailer will one really appreciate a flat level parking lot. Only after spotty internet and cell service will one really appreciate a great and fast WiFi connection.
Here’s what you need to do:
- Park in designated RV parking.
- Go inside to Customer Service and give them your license plate and make and model of RV.
- You are all set! We were even told we could detach and leave the trailer (which we did) and stay up to 3 nights (which we didn’t ☺️).

After taking a dip in Coeur d’Alene lake we had the luxury of showering in the trailer with warm water. I couldn’t help but think, “I”m showering in a Cabela’s parking lot!” I felt like one of the richest women in the world.
Fun to read these entries! You’ll be glad you recorded it all, though it certainly takes time to do it.
