Not only are we lucky to have family in Utah, but we got to explore some new places. Hikes, mountain bike trails, and museums filled our spare time.
Ashton Gardens and Museums of art (BYU campus), natural science (BYU), dinosaurs, and butterflies (Thanksgiving Point) filled a few days. As well as a night spent at Good Time Cafe (in Provo) where you can order appetizers, meals, and drinks all while playing games! There were hundreds of games to choose from and Jen and I tried a new word (fill in the blank) game with Nanny while the younger kids played Risk and Code Names.
Hiking, biking, playgrounds, and time spent together as a family filled all the rest of our time. 🙂
Hiked Stewart Falls (near Provo), Donut Falls (near Salt Lake), and Thor’s Hideout (in Cedar City). Mountain biked near Corner Canyon Regional Park in Draper. Fango and Hogs Hollow trails provided quite the views and challenges. A new playground (All Abilities) in Spanish Fork had just opened up and it was awesome!
