On February 18th, 2021. My hair was getting really long and just really annoying and just getting in the way, and it was time for a change. I’ve donated my hair before, 2 years ago, so it was about time I did it again.
We got all set up, measured my hair to see where and how long I wanted to cut off, brushed my hair, put it into a pony tail, braided it, and then secured it with another hair tie. I decided to cut 12 inches or 1 foot off of my long beautiful hair.
While I cut it I zoom called one of my friends that is going to be cutting her hair soon too. I was super nervous and just kinda sad cause I have been growing my hair out for about 2 years. And although it was really long and getting in the way I was going to miss it. So my mom cut it, and then I got to hold 12 inches of my hair, it was so crazy, and it felt so good to have short well managed hair. We had to make some changed cause the cut didn’t make a perfect cut. It looked so good and so different, i think i look older now. I love it!! And it was so worth it, cause i know that it went to people with now hair so i am so happy and grateful that i have hair and that it can grow back.
It defiently felt weird putting my fingers through my hair and it stopping really soon. It also felt really weird and just different when I took a shower.
