Hello we are a homeschool family who also loves road trips so we thought why not meld the two for a full year. School + Trip = ONE BIG FIELD TRIP.
We left our home state of Minnesota toting a travel trailer with everything we need to live with for one year. We sold much of our furniture and some belongings to live a more minimal lifestyle. (We, ok I, hope after returning next summer we will realize we can live with even less and get rid of even more!)
We have two older children who we miss but we are happy they are enjoying “adult” life in college, and for one of them married with a baby!
Our teens are homeschooled high schoolers and what better time to be homeschooled! While the country is in constant flux regarding school homeschoolers, or roadschoolers, actually feel a sense of control. We are looking forward to the forest, ocean, meadow, plain, and desert being our basis for science and monuments, museums, and more being our history lessons.
