We got to Vermont and then a few days after that we met up with my Aunt. I haven’t seen her for like 3 years or so. It was so awesome to see her again. We went up to Smugglers notch and did 2 little hikes, one was just hiking in the woods and climbing on some big rocks and then the other one was down to a waterfall. IT WAS GORGEOUS!!! I was not expecting it to be that awesome! I was blown away. Such a cool place to hang out. The roads were to cool and a little scary. Then we went to the Von Trapp lodge (sound of music people), it was really nice and it had a really good view. We just went into their gift shop and looked around a little.
Then a little bit later we went to my Aunt’s house and met her kids, we have met the oldest one before but not her two year old, so that was fun to finally see and meet them again. We ate dinner and just played with the kids and they had cats too so we hung out with them too. It was very fun, the kids are super cute and smart.
The next day we went to the Granite Museum, it was very cool and very interesting. It was fun going around and looking at all the things made out of granite or out of plaster, they should pictures of where the original is located and how it looks and then in the museum they just showed replicas. It’s awesome how they can make statues out of granite. Granite weighs so much so I cannot imagine doing anything with it.
Then we ate at a bakery place, it was good. Then we went to a place where one person can sit one place and then another person at the other end and you can talk and it sounds like you guys are right next to each other, it was pretty cool.
We went to the Hope Cemetery where they had some of the granite statues and makings. They were awesome. It was so fun going around and looking at all the different head stones and so think of what they liked and things like that. There was some awesome ones, like a racecar, soccer ball, and so many more. We went to Diary Crème and got some ice cream, i got a large and surprisingly i finished it all, it was so tall. But i finished it all by myself. Then we went to my Aunt’s house and ate some dinner, played with her kids, and watched some gymnastics.
The next day my aunt and her daughter came over to have lunch and just hang out and then I went home with them and we watched gymnastics. It was really fun. We both love gymnastics so it was fun watching it with her. Then I was playing with her kids, it was a lot of fun but really tiring 🙂 we played tag, played with balls, their little jungle gym thingy, bubbles, the cats, and more. Lots of fun. They loved it! Went down by their river and looked for glass because they make things out of the glass by the river which is really cool. Then later that night we went to my Aunt’s moms house and ate dinner there and talked to everyone, it was really fun and the food was super good. My Aunt’s dad makes puzzles so we watched him make some and he let us pick out our own pictures and he made them into puzzles, it was really cool and so awesome to watch pictures turn into puzzles.
Then the next and final day with my aunt we went into Stowe and went shopping in all the cute little stores down there and just walked around the cute town. It was so much fun. I love shopping and I ended up getting a Vermont sweatshirt. I love it! Then we had to say goodbye to my aunt. We had a really good time with her and hopefully we will be able to see her again soon.
