This was my first time going to New York city and I mean just New York in general. It was super cool and very pretty, the skyline was amazing it was so huge it was so beautiful.
We parked our car on the New Jersey side and took the Ferry over to New York, it was so fun. We said in a Hotel on the 9th floor (the highest floor), the view from up there was so amazing, we had a great view of the buildings and it was fun to see some grass on top of some of the buildings, that was an interesting sight to see, it was super cool though.
I had a great time in New York City eating delicious food like: Beyond Sushi (saw it on Shark Tank so had to go try it), dumplings (Oh My Gosh! they were so good!), ice cream, hot dogs, food from delis, pizza, and more. Walking around the city and Central park, it’s crazy to have a whole city around you and then just this amazing park area in the middle of all of it, it was so pretty and peaceful in Central park. We did a scavenger hunt around the city which just gives us more facts about the city and the history behind it. We also took some tour which was really fun, one of the ones we went on the other people with us, the lady was from Minnesota so that was a fun connection, we went on the top of the rock for the sun set, and it was GORGEOUS!! Like it was so pretty watching the sun going down and watching the lights come on in the city.
Just walking around time square was crazy, all the huge screens and all the people were just crazy (there was a lot of creepy people there so I just keep walking and look straight forward and don’t talk to anyone), it was fun going into the shops and I loved seeing the screens and watching them change.
It was fun taking the underground subways, it was fun going in somewhere and then seeing where you end up, it was just a little surprise.
It was just so much fun in New York City.
