When my mom set the phone down she smiled mischievously.
“Trust me, we heard,” I said, with a smile playing at my lips.
“No way are we staying for five hours. Are we?” Sophie asked, somewhat hesitant.
“No, we don’t have to,” my mother replied. “but you never know.”
Long story short, we spent five hours at the Ark Encounter and could have EASILY stayed longer.
The Ark Encounter was opened in July 7, 2016 and is located in Williamstown, Kentucky. Their Creation Museum is located 45 minutes from the Encounter, in Boone County, Kentucky.
During our five hour visit, we rode in the bus for five minutes to the ark. Once there we got a quick picture then we went on to explore all the floors.
There’s lots to read, tons of pictures and sculptures, they also have some short videos/movies (that are a bit cringy, but good).
It’s a very Christian Biblical based museum (which made it ABSOLUTELY amazing!). ALSO! Very family-friendly! 🙂
I didn’t realize that a museum could be so captivating! This museum is a complete 10/10 to me and EXTREMELY high on my recommendations list! So GO check it out!
